Mammogram: Analog (2018)

What is a mammogram?

Mammograms use special x-ray images so doctors can look for changes in breast tissue. These images can help them detect early stages of breast cancer. The tests are done in a hospital or in a radiology center of a doctor's office.

Free mammograms may be available to uninsured, low income women who qualify for services through the Every Woman's Life (EWL) program in Virginia. More information can be found at Every Woman's Life
